The Glycogen Storage Disease Program team is committed to being the leading center for GSD research and clinical care. It is through donations like yours that we are able to continue the growth of our research program to develop better treatment options as well as a cure for this disease.

 

 

Description of Philanthropy Funds:

 

  • Scott Miller GSD Program Fund: Unrestricted funds used at the discretion of the program director to support the clinical and research missions of the GSD Program.
  • Matthew Ehrman Fund for GSD Research: Donations are used only to support direct research expenses for studies being performed by the program aimed at curing the disease or improving the quality of life for children and adults with GSD.
  • Jonah Pournazarian Type Ib GSD Research Fund: Donations are used to directly support research projects aimed at curing or treating type Ib GSD.
  • Type Ib Glycogen Storage Disease Research Fund: Donations are used to directly support research projects aimed at curing or treating type Ib GSD.
  • Type III Glycogen Storage Disease Research Fund: Donations are used to directly support research projects aimed at curing or treating type III GSD.
  • Alyssa's Angel Fund: Charity fund which supports clinical care for patients with glycogen storage disease when financial resources are impeding access to GSD specialists.
  • Canadian Fund for the Cure of GSD : Donations are used to directly support research projects aimed at curing or treating type Ia GSD.
  • Efforts 4 Ellie: Donations are used to directly support research projects aimed at curing or treating type Ib GSD.
  • Jamie Konieczka Type Ib GSD Research Fund: Donations are used to directly support research projects aimed at curing or treating type Ib GSD.
  • The Avery Dane Himes Fund for GSD Research: Donations are used to directly support research projects aimed at curing or treating GSD conditions affecting the heart.
  • Ralph & Alice Brown Type VI GSD Research Fund : Donations are used to directly support research projects aimed at curing or treating type VI GSD.
  • Joshua Adam Conrad Memorial Fund for GSD Research : Donations are used to directly support research that will focus on understanding the mental and physical conditions associated with disordered eating, body image disorders, and substance abuse problems in the GSD population. The goal is to provide better treatments for patients and improve their mental and physical ability to deal with their unique dietary needs.
  • Green Family Fund for GSD Research : Donations are used to directly support the clinical and research missions of the GSD program. The Glycogen Storage Disease Program team is committed to being the leading center for GSD research and clinical care. It is through donations like yours that we are able to continue the growth of our research program to develop better treatment options as well as a cure for this disease.
  • Jerry Kaczur's Fund : Donations are used to directly support research and education of GSD Ib.
  • HLH Fund : Donations are used to directly support GSD research, including cornstarch studies.
